Our Mission:
We produce meaningful & cinematic work, for brands we love and believe in.
House of Kodo is the creative heartbeat for hundreds of brands and organizations around the world.
In 2018, Drew and Bruce met on a film set, and discovered they both hailed from the same samurai clan (hence the logo; the shared family crest). House of Kodo was formed in order to pioneer new ways of approaching film, with heart.
After a decade long career in the commercial / documentary industry, Bruce found success in the narrative world, and is slated to direct his first feature film in Fall 2026.
Drew oversees the company business, finances, and investment portfolio, and plans to step into a producer/director position in 2027. In 2025, Jade joined the company full time, as director of operations, helping the business run smoothly. And most recently, in 2026 we welcomed Noah Ishihara to the team, in a new producer/director role.
Under our roof, we work with a small, core team of creatives on every project, with an emphasis on culture and community. Going into the new year and beyond, we’re so excited for what the future holds!
